I asked for stories of how God has provided, and a gentleman from reddit.com posted the following:
Well I’m a student and my wife works full time. We have a son and he goes to daycare.
Rent and daycare plus living expenses plus school expenses means we have a deficit and we’re always struggling to pay bills. Well my Grandma out of the blue (whom I haven’t talked to in over a year) decided to mail me a sizable check and told me she’s very proud of me for going to school. We needed that money desperately and with it we were able to catch up on bills and stuff.
It’s not really 1 major thing but a serendipitous collision of small things that make my life easier and from my perspective crystallize God’s love and care for me. I know in my heart it was God, but it’s hard to show to others.
While some people might say this is just his grandma blessing him, I can see it as God providing for this man through his grandmother. God uses his people to help each other, and to bless each other. His grandmother was blessed by being able to help her grandson’s family out, and the gentleman’s family was blessed by being able to pay their bills. God works in amazing ways, and even when we give to others, he allows us to feel blessed at the same time!
Another person on reddit.com posted the following:
Well, He has provided me the house I live in, the family I have, the job I have, and this past year He provided money for me to attend a Mission trip when I was unemployed.
From little things we take for granted to big things that seem we will never overcome. He always provides.
I love how they can find blessings in all things, little or large. If we keep our eyes open to see God working, I bet we could all see how He is currently working in our lives.
